Our client is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented
Senior QA Automation Engineer
to join their enterprise-wide
Time and Attendance solution implementation project
. This role is critical in ensuring the delivery of a robust, secure, and high-performing system that aligns with organizational goals for workforce management.
Your new role
As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will bring deep technical expertise in automation, specialising in integration testing and experience working in complex enterprise environments.
In this challenging and rewarding position, you will be responsible for:
* Execute the overall QA strategy and test automation framework for the Time and Attendance system.
* Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and developers to understand integration requirements and use cases.
* Design, develop, and maintain robust, reusable test automation scripts using industry-standard tools (e.g., Postman,etc).
* Implement continuous testing pipelines integrated with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
* Conduct mulesoft integration with automated functional, integration, and regression testing across various modules
* Develop test data and execute automated test scenarios to validate business workflows.
* Log, track, and manage defects in a structured manner using tools like JIRA or Azure Boards.
* Provide detailed QA reports, metrics, and dashboards to communicate quality status and risks.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* 7+ years of QA experience
, with at least
3+ years in automation with a specialisation in mulesoft integrations
for large-scale enterprise projects.
* Expertise in
test automation tools and frameworks
* Proven experience with
API testing
(e.g., Postman, REST Assured) and
performance testing
tools (e.g., JMeter).
* Proficient in one or more programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Python).
* Familiarity with
Agile/Scrum
methodologies and tools like
JIRA, Confluence, Git
.
* Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
* Experience with
enterprise system integrations
(e.g. HR, Payroll, Scheduling).
* Certification in QA (e.g., ISTQB) or automation tools.
* Prior involvement in cloud-based SaaS implementations.
