Role Overview
The Warehouse Assistant/Inwards Goods role is part of the Trade Counter team, supporting plumbers and tradespeople in Cairns by providing access to necessary products for building and renovation projects. Responsibilities include:
1. Picking, packing, and dispatching orders efficiently.
2. Managing stock control, including receiving, storing, and replenishing inventory.
3. Assisting customers with order pickups and basic product inquiries.
4. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
5. Loading and unloading deliveries, and assisting with product distribution as needed.
Key Requirements
1. Previous experience in warehouse operations, stock management, or logistics.
2. Ability to pick orders, maintain shop floor displays, and ensure accurate information provision.
3. Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems.
4. Clean, valid driver's license and flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends.
