Job Title: Registered Nurse (Surgical Wards)
About the Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Surgical Wards as a Registered Nurse, where you will be responsible for:
* Providing Quality Care: Deliver nursing services in health service settings, ensuring quality care for clients/patients and their families.
* Collaboration and Partnership: Collaborate with other health professionals and partner with children, youth, families, and agencies for optimal health outcomes.
* Education and Support: Provide education and information to clients and families, and offer support, direction, and education to students, nurses, and other health professionals.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Nursing Registration: Be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold a current practicing certificate.
* Effective Communication: Possess effective communication skills, including problem solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
* Teamwork: Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Nursing Knowledge: Have knowledge and understanding of the role of the Registered General Nurse within a healthcare setting.
