About the Role
We are seeking
experienced translators
to join our professional translation network.
You may work across one or more specialist areas—including
Legal
,
Medical
,
Business
, and
Marketing
—depending on your expertise and background.
All translators must maintain strict confidentiality and comply with our "
Do Not Feed AI
" policy to protect client information and intellectual property.
We are currently recruiting for the following language pairs, though
other language pairs are also welcome
:
* Chinese (Simplified) → English
* English → Chinese (Simplified)
* Chinese (Traditional) → English
* English → Chinese (Traditional)
Responsibilities
* Translate, proofread, or edit documents depending on project requirements.
* Ensure accuracy, naturalness, consistency, and strong cultural awarenes across all deliverables.
* Create, update, or maintain Term Bases (TBs) as needed.
* Format and prepare documents to meet client or internal standards.
* Handle sensitive client information responsibly and maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
* Comply with APT Text's data protection and
no-AI-input
policies.
* Deliver work within agreed timelines with a professional and detail-oriented approach.
Requirements
* At least
3 years of professional experience
in one or more specialist areas: Legal, Medical, Business, or Marketing.
* Strong bilingual proficiency in your language pair(s).Relevant qualifications or certifications (e.g., NAATI) are highly preferred.
* Academic background in translation, linguistics, law, medicine, business, or related fields is an advantage.
* Exceptional

* Ability to follow project instructions, style guides, and quality assurance requirements.
