We're seeking a Gym Instructor - Casual to work at the Karratha Leisureplex.
Join a dynamic recreation team where no two days are the same — supporting members to achieve their fitness goals while developing your skills in health, wellbeing, and customer service.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about fitness and wellbeing who enjoys working with people, building relationships, and creating positive experiences for gym users of all fitness levels in a welcoming and energetic environment.
What you will be doing:
* To undertake health appraisals and perform the standard range of fitness tests in a professional manner. Assess and refer clients to relevant health professionals based on underlying health conditions they might have.
* To provide all clients with the highest standard of information on health and fitness issues at all times.
* Tailor custom programs based on individual goals as well as considering medical or physical issues which can seriously affect a client health.
* To run theory and practical orientated workshops for gym clients. Demonstrate and correct form and technique of a vast majority of exercises.
