About Our Opportunity
We have an opportunity at the iconic household name - Jalna, for a dedicated and experienced Night Shift Production Coordinator to join our manufacturing team in Jalna, Thomastown. This permanent full‐time role reports to the Production Manager and is responsible for overseeing the hour‐to‐hour activities of production, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards while optimising efficiency.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate production operations on a shift basis, to meet demand and efficiency targets.
* Ensure compliance with quality, safety and food manufacturing standards (HACCP, GMP).
* Monitor production processes and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
* Ensure timely and accurate production confirmation data entry into SAP while identifying and investigating inconsistencies.
* Coordinate and motivate the production team, providing guidance, coaching and feedback.
* Assist in implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
* Be a role model for working safely and promoting a safe working environment.
Qualifications
* Degree or equivalent certification in Engineering, Dairy Technology, Food Science or related field.
* Experience running night shift independently.
* Strong decision‐maker.
* Strong leadership skills and ability to drive results.
* Strong organisational and problem‐solving skills.
* Ability to multitask and work in a fast‐paced environment.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP knowledge is highly desirable.
