Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team in a newly created role.
As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for delivering culturally safe and responsive primary health care aligned with our organisational model of care.
* Deliver high-quality patient care that meets the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
* Conduct independent patient assessments, diagnoses, and clinical decision-making.
* Prescribe medications under the relevant authorities.
* Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic investigations.
* Manage recalls, reminders, and follow-up care processes.
* Collaborate across departments and multidisciplinary teams.
* Lead and contribute to quality improvement activities and clinical audits.
Key Responsibilities

1. Providing holistic primary health care services to patients.
2. Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
3. Leading quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* Current AHPRA registration with endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner.
* Proven experience working in a primary healthcare setting.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A commitment to cultural humility and a willingness to learn in an Aboriginal health context.
* Ability to work effectively in a diverse and dynamic environment.
Benefits
This role offers a competitive salary package including:
* $150,000 to $165,000 per annum.
* 6 weeks of annual leave.
* $1,300 annual remote area allowance.
