South Regional TAFE is seeking Registrations of Interest from suitably qualified people who are interested in casual/relief lecturing.
There is no guarantee of work; the aim is to develop a register of casual staff for relief purposes or to offer training in specific areas of expertise as the need arises within the next 18 months.
Salary
Level 1 $79.65 ph LGA
Level 2 $95.79 ph LGA
Level 3 $109.47 ph LGA
About the Role
The lecturer's primary role is to teach, facilitate learning, assess and mentor students in accordance with relevant curriculum and/or training package requirements. Lecturers also undertake Professional Activities and Activities Related to Delivery. In order to maintain quality educational services, lecturers are required to keep abreast of technological and other developments in their field through professional development to provide up-to-date information and advice to the College and industry, where appropriate.
To be eligible for employment applicants must hold a Forklift ticket, Cert IV in TAE, Worksafe Accreditation to deliver the License to Perform High Risk Work or equivalent and have a minimum of 5 years working in the area of expertise.
