Evolve Environmental Solutions is an environmental restoration and construction business delivering practical, on-ground solutions that protect and restore natural areas across South-East Queensland. Our work sits at the intersection of construction, landscape delivery and environmental outcomes.
We are seeking an experienced Construction Team Leader to join our Sunshine Coast team and help deliver environmental construction projects including erosion control, revegetation, habitat installation and water-sensitive urban design assets.
This role suits a construction professional who enjoys being on site, leading crews and building tangible outcomes — and who values work that improves the long-term health and resilience of natural landscapes.
About the Role
You will be responsible for the on-site delivery of environmental construction and landscape works, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and to specification.
You will work closely with Project Managers and environmental specialists, translating project designs into high-quality on-ground outcomes. While construction is the primary focus, the work is inherently environmental — building systems and landscapes that perform over time, not just at handover.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring you to actively participate in site works while supervising crews, plant and subcontractors.

* Experience as a Leading Hand, Foreman or Senior Crew Leader
* Background in environmental landscaping / restoration, landscaping or agriculture
What We're Looking For
* Construction Induction Card (White Card)
* Current QLD Driver's Licence (manual)
* Experience managing crews, plant and subcontractors
* Strong safety leadership and practical problem-solving skills
* Genuine interest in environmental construction and restoration outcomes
Environmental qualifications are valued but not essential — we support capable construction leaders transitioning into this sector.
Desirable (Not Essential)
* Certificate III in Conservation & Land Management (or equivalent)
* ACDC Commercial Operator's Licence
* 4WD Operation
* Chainsaw ticket
* First Aid / CPR
What We Offer
* Full-time, permanent role
* Above-award hourly rates
* Meaningful work with visible environmental impact
* Diverse projects across coastal, riparian and urban natural areas
* Supportive team culture with a strong safety and environmental focus
Important Note
This is a working leadership role. You will be expected to lead from the front, combining hands-on construction with site coordination and crew leadership.
