We have a newly created role for a Fundraising Officer to support the growth of our community engagement, fundraising events, and partnerships. This is a dynamic and rewarding role where you’ll directly contribute to meaningful change in our local community.
Reporting to the Partnerships Specialist, you’ll support the day-to-day operations of our Community Fundraising and Peer-to-Peer Campaigns. You’ll also assist with our Corporate Partnerships Program, ensuring successful delivery of events and fundraising activities that support HCM’s programs and services.
About the role:
* Contribute to the coordination and execution of community fundraising initiatives and events
* Build and maintain relationships with community partners, donors and volunteers
* Support Peer-to-Peer campaigns like Sleep Rough, including logistics and donor care
* Assist with corporate partnerships, research and stewardship
* Maintain donation platforms and track campaign performance
* Support internal administration, reporting and team collaboration
* Represent HCM at community events and speaking engagements as needed
About you:
* Experience in fundraising, events or administration, desirable
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* High attention to detail and excellent time management
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CRM/database experience desirable
* Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team
* A professional, respectful and values-aligned approach
* Availability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends/evenings
* Full driver's licence
