As our
Sales Representative – Mining Technology
, you'll combine your mechanical understanding of
conveyor components
(idlers, rollers, and belt tracking devices) with your ability to sell
IoT-based monitoring and automation solutions
. Your mission is to help customers transition from reactive maintenance to
proactive, data-driven asset management
.
You'll engage with
multi-level stakeholders
— from maintenance supervisors and reliability engineers to procurement and senior decision-makers. You'll position Vayeron's technology as a key enabler of improved conveyor uptime, reduced maintenance costs, and safer, more sustainable mining operations.
We're looking for someone who enjoys working both strategically and hands-on — someone who can visit a site, understand its operational challenges, and propose integrated solutions that include both
hardware (conveyor components)
and
technology (embedded sensors and data platforms)
.
You'll have autonomy to develop your territory, supported by a collaborative technical and marketing team committed to your success.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and develop new business opportunities across the mining and bulk materials handling sectors.
* Sell both
traditional conveyor components
and
Vayeron's smart sensor technology
as a combined value proposition.
* Build relationships with key decision-makers including engineers, maintenance managers, and procurement teams.
* Present and demonstrate IoT and mechanical solutions that improve reliability, productivity, and safety.
* Manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from opportunity to close.
* Work closely with internal technical experts to deliver customised solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.
* Maintain accurate pipeline management and reporting through CRM systems.
* Represent Vayeron and Kadant with professionalism and integrity in all customer interactions.
About You
You're a motivated, technically minded salesperson with a passion for both
mechanical systems
and
emerging industrial technology
. You understand how things work — from the ground up — and you know how to communicate the value of reliability and efficiency improvements to customers.

* Interest or experience in

* Proven ability to manage long, consultative sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to adapt to different audiences.

* A willingness to travel to customer sites and mining operations as needed.
