About the Role
In this opportunity as Sponsorship & Delegates Sales Manager, you will:
1. Retain and grow sales to existing clients.
2. Prospect for new business and grow new customer sales.
3. Devise sales and activation plans for each client and sponsor/partner agreement
4. Create additional value opportunities for key accounts and sponsors/partners.
5. Undertake research into potential delegates/sponsors, including competitor analysis.
6. Work with internal stakeholders to identify new sponsorship/conference bulk registration opportunities.
7. Prepare and update media kits in collaboration with key internal stakeholders.
8. Develop strong internal relationships with other departments including the broader Media & Events business, Commercial team, Customer Care, and Marketing & Sales, to ensure all areas are working together and supporting one another in the best interests of Thomson Reuters’ customers.
About You
You’re a fit for the role of Sponsorship & Delegate Sales Manager if your background includes:
9. Minimum five years’ experience in event sponsorship and/or delegate sales preferred
10. Strong communication skills
11. Experience working in a customer-obsessed culture essential
12. Results-driven, strong growth mindset
13. Relevant tertiary qualifications preferred but not essential
14. Exposure to Thomson Reuters’ markets would be advantageous
15. Strong computer literacy, experience with Salesforce advantageous
