An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and creative Head Chef to join a remote luxury lodge in the Flinders Ranges. This role offers the chance to take ownership of a high-end dining program that showcases local and native produce, delivering memorable food experiences in a spectacular outback setting.

The Role
The Head Chef leads a small kitchen team and curates a diverse offering that spans intimate homestead dining, outdoor meals, and catering for extended walking safaris. This is an immersive role suited to a hands-on chef who enjoys autonomy, authentic service, and working with high-quality, locally sourced ingredients.
Key Responsibilities Include
Designing seasonal menus suited to an outback environment
Delivering high-quality homestead meals and safari catering
Overseeing sourcing, selection, and procurement of premium produce
Leading, training, and supporting a small kitchen team
Providing warm, informal guest interaction during meals and experiences
Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar remote or lodge environment
Relevant culinary qualifications
Strong understanding of Australian and native ingredients
Experience managing or mentoring a small kitchen team
Ability to deliver high-end dining in a relaxed, authentic style
