6‐Month Contract | Immediate Start | Commercially Focused Role
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Management Accountant to join a well‐backed, growth‐focused organisation operating within the industrial, resources and manufacturing sector. This 6‐month contract role is suited to a hands‐on finance professional who enjoys working closely with operations, supporting decision‐making and improving the quality of reporting in a practical, fast‐moving environment.

About the Role
Reporting into senior finance leadership, the role will have you partnering across finance and operations to deliver timely, accurate and commercially useful reporting. You will step into a broad role with exposure to management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis and operational support. The role is ideal for someone accustomed to a finance environment that is both commercial and hands‐on, not solely month‐end focused.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting analysis
* Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cash‐flow reporting
* Provide cost and margin analysis to support operational decision‐making
* Partner with key internal stakeholders across finance and operations
* Support month‐end close, journals, reconciliations and variance analysis
* Help improve reporting processes, controls and financial visibility
* Contribute to board/investor‐quality reporting where required
* Assist with ad‐hoc commercial analysis and project‐based work
About You
You are a commercially minded finance professional who can operate confidently in a dynamic and evolving environment. You ideally bring:
* Previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar commercial finance role
* Strong month‐end and reporting capability
* Experience with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
* Confidence partnering with non‐finance stakeholders
* Strong Excel and systems capability
* A practical, adaptable, solutions‐focused approach
Experience in manufacturing, industrial, mining services, chemicals, processing, engineering or related sectors will be highly regarded.
