We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to join our team. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the logistics, warehousing, purchasing, and stock control operations.
* Maintain Efficiency: Monitor and improve work practices to ensure optimal results.
* Sales Order Creation: Create sales orders and projects in the ERP system.
* Purchasing: Source equipment and materials according to bill of materials.
* Dispatch Management: Package equipment and materials for dispatch to customer sites.
* Delivery Documentation: Complete delivery documentation and liaise with freight and courier companies for inbound and outbound.
* Fleet Maintenance: Assist with scheduling vehicle fleet maintenance.
* Procurement Meetings: Attend and contribute to head office procurement meetings as part of the overall procurement team.
* Inventory Optimization: Monitor stock levels, identify excess or shortage situations, and recommend appropriate actions.
