Overview
Health and Fitness Instructor (Permanent Part-time) at Central Coast Council. This role is minimum 20 hours per week with shifts from Monday to Friday 6am–8pm and some weekend work. Location: Lake Haven Recreation Centre.

- Develop and deliver tailored personal fitness programs
- Provide quality customer service and create value for the community
- Demonstrate outstanding interpersonal skills and a customer-centric approach
- Work as part of a dynamic, customer-focused team to enhance the fitness of Central Coast Council residents and guests
About You & Qualifications
- You are a registered Fitness Professional – Gym Instructor
- Ideally a Registered Fitness Professional – Group Fitness Instructor
- Ideally a Registered Fitness Professional – Personal Trainer
- Current Provide First Aid qualification (HLTAID 011)
- Current Provide Resuscitation Certificate (HLTAID 009)
- Valid Working with Children Check as per regulations, or willing to obtain prior to offer
- Share pride in helping people reach their fitness goals
- Demonstrated experience developing and delivering personal health and fitness programs
- Demonstrated experience in a sport, fitness or wellbeing environment
- Strong team orientation and ability to contribute to organisational goals
- Strong customer service ethos and effective communication skills
Other Information
- Hourly rate ranges between $32.14 – $38.64 plus 12% superannuation; weekend penalties apply
- This is a permanent part-time role with minimum 20 hours per week
- Location: Lake Haven Recreation Centre
- Successful candidates may be required to have vaccinations against Hepatitis B
