The Role
We're looking for a General Manager who can be responsible for leading the value generation and commercial performance across three Neumann business units within Manufacturing: Equipment, Industrial Coatings, and Construction.
The role holds accountability for operational and financial performance, including P&L outcomes, margin management, and disciplined cost control across manufacturing, coatings, and structural fabrication activities.
Strong commercial and financial acumen is critical to driving profitable delivery, improving productivity, and ensuring operational resources are deployed to maximise business value.
The position exists to strengthen enterprise value through manufacturing performance, robust financial governance, leadership capability, and market reputation in specialised industrial, structural, and engineered manufacturing services.

About You
You are a strong strategic and commercially minded leader, known for high accountability, strong communication and effective stakeholder engagement. You bring a collaborative, safety-first leadership style, while making decisive decisions under pressure and balancing long-term strategies with daily operational execution.
You bring:
* Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related discipline.
* Senior leadership experience in fabrication, industrial manufacturing, construction, trade, project management or heavy engineering environments.
* Certification in formal project management (e.g. PMP or equivalent) preferred.
* WHS or safety leadership certification (desirable).
* Commercial or contract management training.
* P&L ownership in project-based delivery businesses.
* Strong commercial and financial management capability.
* Proven ability to improve operational systems and margin performance.
* Understanding of structural steel, coatings, and custom industrial equipment delivery.
* The ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cultural change.
