We are currently looking for an EHS Coordinator to join the team in Townsville with the delivery of a major construction project. This role will see you work with the project team to lead safety on site. You will be responsible for driving EHS performance, providing technical insight to identify issues and trends, monitor compliance on staff and subcontractors with Lendlease EHS protocols and implementing safety and training initiatives to improve our safety performance. To be successful you will need: Prior experience in a Safety Coordinator/Advisor or EHS related position, from within the construction industry Experience working on site on a commercial and/or residential construction project. An understanding and knowledge of local legal and regulatory health and safety requirements. Knowledge of safe working systems, legislation, rules, and procedures. Clear and articulate communication skills coupled with an ability to manage stakeholders, both internally and externally.
