Project Lead - Telepower
Ventia is looking for a Project Lead to manage critical infrastructure projects under the Telstra SFMDCC contract. This hands‑on role combines technical oversight, stakeholder engagement, and project management across power systems, batteries, generators, and cooling equipment in data centres and network sites, ensuring safe, timely, and high‑quality delivery.

What You'll Do
* Deliver projects end‑to‑end, ensuring WHS and quality compliance
* Oversee critical infrastructure works (FIPs, generators, batteries, rectifiers)
* Manage subcontractors, interpret plans and conduct audits
* Conduct inspections and pre‑delivery checks
* Prepare procedures, coordinate site access and monitor budgets
* Report progress and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
What We're Looking For
* Experience in project management or supervising/leading project teams within telco or data‑centre environments
* Experience with Telepower, UPS systems, BESS or related fields
* Strong Electrical and Electrical Safety knowledge
* NSW Electrical Licence, White Card and valid Driver's Licence
* Skilled in stakeholder management and team leadership
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and project tools
* Safety‑focused, proactive, and able to work independently
