The
Sustainability Analyst
plays an important part in strengthening ATCO's sustainability reporting and supporting the development of effective sustainability practices across the business. You'll work closely with teams to manage data quality, maintain documentation and controls and ensure alignment with evolving reporting standards such as AASB S1 and S2 and NGERS.
You're someone who enjoys working with data, systems and processes and who takes pride in producing accurate, reliable and well‑structured work. You'll also support broader sustainability initiatives and help embed consistent and transparent practices across the organisation.

You're the goto person for reliable, accurate and transparent sustainability data. You bring structure, clarity and forward-thinking solutions that keep ATCO aligned with evolving standards like AASB S1 and S2, NGERS and ESG best practice.
You'll Make An Impact By
* Lead and support core sustainability reporting activities, including the Annual Sustainability Report, Annual Climate-related Disclosures and ESG metric assurance.
* Manage sustainability data flows and integrations across systems such as SAP, Workiva and other ESG platforms.
* Maintain accurate documentation, controls and compliant access management for sustainability reporting processes.
* Ensure consistent, validated, audit‑ready sustainability data for internal and external stakeholders, including training and capability uplift across teams.
* Support sustainability strategy development and stay across regulatory changes to ensure reporting meets evolving standards.
You're curious, detail driven, and enjoy transforming complex data into clear stories. You love systems, controls and transparency, but you're also energised by working collaboratively to embed sustainability across a business.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Data Analytics or similar.
* At least 2 years' experience in sustainability reporting, ESG data, or a related field (desirable but not essential).
* Experience working with reporting frameworks and audit processes.
You're Great At (Essential)
* Applying frameworks such as SASB, TCFD,, NGERS, GHG Protocol, and have some exposure to the requirements of AASB S2 disclosures. .
* Working with systems like SAP, Workiva, ESG platforms and advanced Excel.
* Breaking down complex data and identifying insights.
* Communicating clearly and building strong relationships across teams.
* Managing competing priorities with confidence and independence.
Bonus Skills (Desirable)
* Change management experience.
* Understanding of Australia's energy and utilities sector.
* Hands-on decarbonisation or carbon accounting experience.
* Exposure to financial assurance or audit environments.
