About the Role:
Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for safety, operationalexcellence, and team development? CSBP is seeking an experiencedOperations Supervisor to oversee fertiliserdespatch operations and drive continuous improvement across ourGeraldton region.
As Operations Supervisor, you’ll own the operationalfunction in Geraldton, leading a team of Despatch Operators andcontractors to ensure safe, efficient, and customer-focusedoperations. You’ll play a key role in planning, resourcecoordination, and performance management, while fostering a cultureof safety and high performance.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Manage day-to-day site operations and ensure compliancewith safety and environmental standards.
- Lead and coach a small team of employees andcontractors.
- Drive continuous improvement in operational processes andteam performance.
- Manage inventory and ensure product availability in linewith forecasts.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, customers,carriers, and suppliers.
- Support budgeting, cost control, and maintenanceplanning.
- Operate heavy vehicles and despatch plant equipment asrequired.
About You:
We’re looking for someone who brings:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in line management withina manufacturing or materials handling industry, orsimilar.
- Strong safety focus and knowledge of secure workpractices.
- Proven leadership and team development skills.
- Sound knowledge of material handling operations andmaintenance planning.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and timemanagement skills.
- Commercial awareness and customer-centric mindset.
