**Chubb **are looking for a qualified Commissioning Technician to join our Canberra Installation team. This is a rare opportunity to join a specialized and dedicated team, delivering a range of High-Tech solutions to large government and private sector customers.
**About the role**:
As a security Commissioning Technician your main responsibilities will be designing and Commissioning of:
- High-Level Networks, Hardware Servers & Software, Commercial and Cloud based solutions
- High Security and Commercial Alarm systems, Access Control, Biometric, Duress, CCTV, Intercom, and associated systems.
- Working on a wide variety of projects in government, defence, commercial and multi-National clients across a large range of different products
- Ensuring customers receive the best of quality and service - exceeding expectations wherever possible
- Working in a Team Environment with installation technicians and project managers to deliver high quality projects.
- At least 2 years experience, in programming electronic security systems, including alarms, access control, CCTV and associated systems
- Strong PC and Networking Skills
- ACT Drivers Licence
- ACT Security license
- ACMA endorsed Cabling Registration
- Construction Industry OH&S General Induction "White Card"
- Australian Citizenship able to obtain an AGSVA Government Security Clearance
- Currently hold or ability to enroll into a cert III or IV qualification relevant to the Electronic Security industry
- Certification with Lenel, Gallagher, Tecom, Integrity, Milestone, Geutebruck systems desirable
- Experience in the design of integrated electronic security systems
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail with a Positive Can-Do attitude.
