Aboriginal School and Community Worker
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Aboriginal School and Community Worker to join our team. This role is an exciting opportunity for someone who is committed to supporting the education and wellbeing of Aboriginal students, their families, and communities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging with school communities to create welcoming and safe spaces for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and children. They will also work closely with school staff, local Aboriginal organisations, and Elders to support the learning, pastoral care, and spiritual wellbeing of Aboriginal students.

Key Responsibilities:
* Support Catholic schools in the Diocese to create inclusive and culturally responsive environments for Aboriginal students.
* Work collaboratively with school staff, local Aboriginal organisations, and Elders to develop and implement programs that promote the educational and wellbeing needs of Aboriginal students.
* Engage with school communities to build relationships and foster a sense of belonging among Aboriginal students and their families.
Requirements:
* Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
* Supportive of Catholic Education's purpose, vision, and values.
* Effective communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
* Current NSW Driver's Licence and NSW Working with Children Check.
