Based between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, we've been serving the Southeast Queensland coastal communities for more than 30 year's.
We are seeking a hands-on General Manager to lead operations and partner with our team to drive a period of significant growth.
This is an opportunity for an energetic, detail-orientated leader who enjoys life on the water, thrives on problem-solving, and can balance commercial decisions with practical construction know-how.
You will oversee operations day-to-day, leading a small and capable team of tradespeople.
You will also generate and convert new project sales leads, establish positive client relationships, and ensure every project is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standard.
Key responsibilities
Oversee fabrication, site installation, and maintenance operations across multiple projects
Manage workflow, scheduling, supplier coordination, and site logistics
Drive sales growth through quoting, client liaison, and business development
Maintain high attention to detail in design, documentation, and finish quality
Motivate, mentor and support team members to deliver excellent results
Identify and resolve operational issues proactively and efficiently
Report regularly to the Board on performance, budgets, and opportunities for improvement
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
About you
Passionate about the outdoors and coastal lifestyle
Experience in sales and customer relationship management, ideally in marine or construction sectors
Knowledge of construction or fabrication processes (civil, concrete, or marine experience highly regarded)
Demonstrated leadership and organisational skills with a practical, 'get-it-done' mindset
Comfortable working in a hands-on environment, including site visits and team support when needed
Comfort using a computer (e.g., ability to learn quoting systems, scheduling, emails, and reporting)
