Key Laboratory Technician Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced laboratory technician to join our team. As a laboratory technician, you will be responsible for performing routine clinical and research functions in the Gastroenterology Clinical Laboratory Service.
* You will contribute to the maintenance of standards of excellence in both the technical and administrative aspects of the routine clinical and research functions of the laboratory service.
* You will provide a Breath Hydrogen testing service under the direction of the Senior Medical Scientist.
* You will contribute to the laboratory service quality assurance programs as well as the immediate and reliable communication of routine diagnostic results to the appropriate medical personnel.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A Diploma or Advanced Diploma in a relevant technical discipline is required.
* Experience in medical technical laboratory disciplines is essential.
* Experience in collating and interpreting data is also required.
