Bawinanga Homelands Aboriginal Corporation (BHAC) is looking for a Property Services Administration Officer to support the Housing and Property Services team. Working under the Property Services Manager, this role helps coordinate BHAC staff housing and accommodation. The position includes both office administration and practical work such as preparing houses for new staff and visitors, organising cleaning and maintenance, and assisting with housing requests. Main duties include:
* Supporting the Housing and Property Services team with day-to-day administration and practical tasks
* Preparing staff housing and accommodation for new staff, visitors and tenants
* Coordinating cleaning and set-up of houses including laundry, linen and supplies
* Receiving and recording housing maintenance requests from staff and tenants
* Logging and tracking maintenance jobs in the job management system
* Helping organise minor repairs, lawn mowing and contractor services
* Assisting with property checks and inspections and updating housing records
* Maintaining housing inventories including furniture, appliances and equipment
* Managing records such as keys, housing registers and occupancy information
* Providing general office administration including filing, data entry, purchase orders and invoices
* Responding to housing enquiries and assisting with accommodation bookings
