About the role
We are seeking a talented
Conveyancer or Legal Secretary
to join our team. The role is for a
12-month full-time contract to cover a parental leave position
with the opportunity to extend into a new role after the 12-month period.
What you'll be doing
* Handling all aspects of conveyancing transactions, including preparing and reviewing contracts, liaising with clients, real estate agents, and other stakeholders.
* Conducting title searches, arranging settlement procedures via PEXA, and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and on time.
* Managing client files, scheduling appointments, and handling general enquiries.
* Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of property law and compliance requirements.
What we're looking for
* Experience as a Conveyancer or Legal Secretary, preferably in property law. However experience in other areas of law including Wills & Estates and Family Law would also be beneficial.
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.
* Proficiency in LEAP and PEXA platform.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues.
* A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to contribute to the success of the firm.
