Project Engineer – Brownfield Smelter Upgrades
Portfolio: Alcoa Smelter, Portland, VIC. Roster: Monday–Friday, site-based. Key benefit: up to $70k inclusive of super per annum (contract).
Role Opportunity
Join a multi-discipline project team delivering sustaining capital and brownfield upgrade works within a major smelter environment. Support project planning, coordinate engineering inputs, assist with contractor interfaces and contribute to safe, on‑time delivery across design, construction and commissioning phases.

Essential Qualifications & Skills
* Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferable)
* Brownfield or heavy industrial project experience
* Strong schedule, cost and risk awareness
* Stakeholder and contractor coordination skills
* Understanding of Australian Standards
Duties & Responsibilities
* Support brownfield engineering project delivery
* Assist with planning, execution and reporting
* Coordinate with engineering and site teams
* Monitor scope, schedule, cost and risks
* Contribute to safety‑in‑design and compliance
