ABOUT THE POSITION.
We are seeking a determined Civil Engineer to join a motivated and goal-oriented team, contributing to the delivery of projects from concept through to completion. You will also conduct site inspections, support the tender process, and coordinate closely with councils, clients, contractors, and key stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. In this role, you will gain exposure to residential and commercial developments, land-development projects, and other specialised works.
DUTIES.
Design and model stormwater, drainage, flood modelling, Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD), and On-Site Detention (OSD) systems
Prepare engineering drawings, calculations, reports, and technical documentation
Coordinate with council, contractors, clients, and internal stakeholders to support project delivery
Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, council requirements, and environmental regulations
Assist with tender submissions and attend site inspections, meetings, and design reviews
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
A bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Structural Engineering or similar
Proficient in Civil 3D, 12D, MUSIC, DRAINS, TUFLOW, HEC-RAS, or similar software
Strong knowledge of WSUD, OSD, and stormwater design
Experience working in residential and commercial subdivisions and land-development projects
Strong written and verbal communication skills
