Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese (CSPD) is looking for a Web Specialist to join our Communications & Engagement team on a permanent, full-time basis. Based at our North Parramatta office, this role offers the opportunity to manage and maintain CSPD and its 80 schools' online presence with a focus on content management, design and user experience.
You will work with the Marketing, schools and IT teams to create and refine web content, ensure user-friendly website designs and optimal digital experiences. Please note this is not a developer role, we are looking for a generalist and the day to day duties will include:
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain multiple websites, ensuring content is up-to-date, user-friendly and consistent with brand guidelines
Collaborate with internal teams to develop, design and implement new web pages and structures as necessary and with external vendors to scope user centric improvements to site functionality
Develop and support content creation and review, ensuring websites align with strategic goals and enhance user engagement
Collaborate with the marketing team to translate requirements into website wireframes and websites that create impactful user experiences
Stay current in industry, website structure, content and design strategy, emerging technologies and digital marketing best practices
Develop, implement and maintain SEO strategies, website policies, and standards
Utilise performance monitoring and analysis to provide advice and recommendations for content optimisation and improvements for websites and SEO strategies.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Digital Marketing or a related field, or equivalent experience (

)
At least 3 years of experience in a website management or digital content role (

Proficiency in CMS platforms (preferably Sitecore XP or similar), and an understanding of HTML/CSS basics (
required
)
Strong knowledge of SEO principles and web analytics tools (
required
)
Experience with design tools (such as Adobe XD, Figma, Canva) to create web assets and wireframes (
required
)
Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams (
required
)
Strong communication and project management skills, both written and verbal, with experience with managing stakeholders (
