About the role
The Business Architect works within the architecture team and collaboratively across the organisation to engage stakeholders with the aim to translate strategic direction into actionable uplifts across people, process, information and technology. The role defines business capabilities, maps value streams, and identifies operating model gaps to enable prioritised, coherent and value-aligned transformation. It supports project and portfolio teams to ensure initiatives are anchored in enterprise direction.
Working with senior leaders and SMEs, the role uses repeatable frameworks, capability models and industry standards to develop an integrated view of the business. These artefacts guide strategic planning, inform investment decisions and provide traceability from business goals to outcomes.
Key pieces of work that this role will work on include:
* Supporting our Clients Division in the development of short, mid and long term sequencing of uplift across people, process, information and technology to achieve strategic outcomes.
* Providing holistic impact analysis of small and medium business opportunities
* Translating recently completed business strategies into actionable change
* Further developing the Business Architecture artefacts in the new Enterprise Architecture tool
