About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Demand Planner to develop accurate forecasts, optimise inventory, and support S&OP processes.
You will analyse sales and market data, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide insights and reporting to improve forecast accuracy and support business decision‐making.
Key Responsibilities
Demand Forecasting
* Build and maintain statistical forecasts using SAP, scan data, and market insights.
* Analyse and cleanse historical data to predict future demand.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Partner with Sales and Marketing to align demand forecasts
* Manage demand profiles for deletions, product changeover, promotions and new product launches.
* Work closely with Supply Chain and Production teams to ensure operational alignment.
* Contribute to S&OP process with clear insights and recommendations.
* Prepare monthly forecast accuracy scorecards and reports to support S&OP process.
Process Improvement & Reporting
* Improve forecasting methods and accuracy.
* Produce reports on KPIs, demand variability, and forecast performance.
* Provide insights and recommendations to support decision‐making.
Inventory Management
* Monitor inventory levels to minimise stockouts and overstocking.
* Provide recommendations to optimise inventory levels.
About You
* Minimum 2 years' experience in Demand Planning, S&OP or IBP
* Experience in using SAP/APO/GIB
* Advanced Microsoft Excel capability with strong analytical skills working with large data sets
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including presentation and training
* Relevant tertiary qualification preferred.
* Background in FMCG or Manufacturing environment
