**We are seeking a best in sector on site 'Functions & Events Manager' in Canberra** to lead the service team at one of our nations capital's coolest pub venues....**
Reporting to the owner, you will use your leadership & strategic planning capabilities to ensure seamless delivery of a number of events on a daily basis ranging from corporate lunches through to sit down formal dinners & high-end cocktail parties whilst ensuring food quality & service standards are continuously maintained.

**What you'll offer**:
As the Functions & Events Manager you will be responsible for overseeing all functions from enquiry until successful delivery on the day. You will portray company culture standards, whilst having the opportunity to create, train & develop your team & drive them to success.

You need to be passionate about the hospitality scene, have an interest in where it's going, so you can stay on trend & be innovative with ideas & concepts.
- Previous experience in a similar position,
- Sound product & industry knowledge;
- Good financial & administrative skills; they receive up to 50 function enquiries / day
- A constructive & positive approach to managing people with strong leadership & mentoring ability;
- Great hustle;
- Highly driven, motivated & a mature approach to work;
- High standard & understanding of front of house operations;
- Strong focus on quality & customer service; and
- A hands on approach & able to lead by example.
