We are a dedicated South Australian Barramundi producer and a premium Australian Seafood wholesale and retail specialist. Due to the continued growth of our operations, we are currently seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals for the role of Seafood Process Worker to join our production team.
The Opportunity
* Role: Seafood Process Worker
* Basis: Casual
* Work Hours: Monday to Friday, generally starting at 6:00 AM and finishing around 2:00 PM (40 hours per week, depending on operational needs).
* Reporting To: Operations Manager

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Joining the early shift, your routine will be diverse and hands-on:
* Seafood Processing: Accurately processing whole fish into fillets to match existing customer orders.
* Preparation & Trimming: Cleaning and trimming the carcasses to prepare them for the rest of the processing operation.
* Packing & Quality Control: Processing, packing, weighing, and labelling seafood, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained.
* Inventory & Handling: Assisting with stock control of processed product, unloading raw stock, and ensuring proper storage.
* Equipment Maintenance: Maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of tools and equipment, including knives and other machinery.
* Cleaning & Safety: Working as part of a team to perform thorough cleaning of processing areas to meet strict Food Safety and WHS standards.
What You'll Bring to Our Team
We are looking for someone who is reliable, dedicated, and safety-focused:
* Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar processing role is desirable. Previous experience working directly with seafood would be highly regarded.
* Work Ethic: Reliable, hardworking, and self-motivated, with a willingness to perform a variety of tasks.
* Safety Focus: Passionate about providing high standards of food safety and able to maintain WHS and cleanliness of the facility.
* Skills: Exceptional time management, strong numeracy skills, and good communication skills.
* Resilience: Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Leadership: Experience in leadership skills is a distinct advantage.
