This is your opportunity to work in a PPP school with state of the art Food Technology facilities.
Featherbrook P-9 College is located in Point Cook, adjacent to the Featherbrook Community Centre.
The school opened in term 1, ****.
It has been constructed through a Public-Private Partnership which supports an optimal learning environment and enrichment of curriculum programs through partnering with the YMCA and CERES.
The school also includes a Community Hub which provides an outside-school hour programme managed by the YMCA and facilities which support other community programmes for local families.

The school offers a progressive approach to educating students from Prep – Year 9.

Selection Criteria
SC1Demonstrated capacity to perform duties consistent with established guidelines and frameworks, including coordinating and supporting others in respect to specific work functions relevant to the role.

Role
This role is for someone who loves cooking and food technology.
You will assist the Food Technology Teacher in:
Preparation for classes
Assistance to the Food Technology teacher during class time
Cleaning the food technology room after class time
Assisting with weekly produce/grocery orders
Assisting the Food Technology teacher in all aspects of the Food Technology Program
An education support class position at this range will perform tasks carried out in accordance with guidelines, accepted practice and school policy under supervision and direction.
It may include coordination of other education support class staff within the work area or educational program.
Responsibilities include:
Carry out allocated activities and tasks determined by the school consistent with the role description.
Participate in planning and preparation with teachers on a regular basis.
Participate in professional learning activities provided through this initiative.
Participate in the ongoing evaluation of this initiative.
