The Role
Perfection Fresh, a leading Australian fresh produce company, is seeking an experienced and strategic Customer Lead - Retail Grocery to drive revenue growth, margin performance and strengthen customer partnerships across one of their key retail accounts. The successful candidate will need to be either Sydney or Brisbane based.
As the Customer Lead - Retail Grocery, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, margin performance and strategic customer partnerships across one of their key retail accounts and product categories. You will own the customer commercial strategy, including range, pricing, promotional planning, and joint business planning, ensuring profitable growth aligned with Perfection Fresh's supply capabilities and category strategy.
Key responsibilities:
* Develop and execute customer growth strategies for assigned retail accounts
* Own revenue, margin and growth targets for assigned customers and categories
* Lead the development of Joint Business Plans (JBP/JCP) with key customers
* Develop and execute pricing strategies aligned with supply dynamics and retail price points
* Manage daily commercial performance across assigned categories and customers
* Work closely with supply teams to align supply strategy with customer demand
* Lead internal category and customer performance reviews
Skills and Experience:
* Degree in business, marketing, economics or a related area
* At least 10 years of experience in a sales or key customer account management role
* Demonstrated leadership in successfully delivering company objectives through a team
* Highly developed influence, communication and negotiation skills
* Experience in dairy, fresh meat, fresh produce or similar industries with products that have limited shelf life
