About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead product marketing strategy and go‐to‐market execution across Australia and New Zealand during a maternity cover period.

This role is central to ensuring Tes continues to deliver strong product positioning, clear market‐led propositions and effective regional growth activity. You will work closely with Product, Sales, Customer Success and Marketing to shape how Tes shows up in the ANZ market; bringing a strong customer, commercial and competitive lens to decision‐making.

As a key member of the extended Australia leadership team, you'll also contribute to broader strategy, alignment and cross‐functional planning across the region.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead product marketing strategy for the ANZ portfolio, ensuring alignment with regional priorities and customer needs.
* Own positioning, messaging and value propositions, adapting global frameworks for local relevance.
* Develop compelling, market‐specific narratives across priority products and solutions.
* Lead regional GTM planning for launches, campaigns and commercial initiatives.
* Build clear plans with defined audiences, messaging, channels and KPIs.
* Ensure strong cross‐functional launch readiness and seamless regional execution.
* Localise global product marketing initiatives for ANZ.
Demand Generation & Growth
* Partner with Sales and Demand Generation teams to drive pipeline, acquisition, cross‐sell, upsell and retention.
* Shape campaign messaging and audience targeting based on customer insights.
* Create and support regional campaigns with strong differentiation and proof points.
* Contribute directly to pipeline, adoption, expansion and retention outcomes.
* Develop high‐quality enablement materials: pitch decks, one‐pagers, persona insights, battlecards and objections guidance.
* Strengthen customer‐facing messaging across acquisition and renewal motions.
* Support Sales and Customer Success teams to clearly articulate product value and differentiation.
Market, Customer & Competitive Insights
* Build a strong understanding of the ANZ education market, including trends, customer needs and competitive activity.
* Use insights to refine propositions, shape campaigns and influence product direction.
* Identify risks, opportunities and whitespace for regional growth.
Cross‐Functional Collaboration & Leadership
* Work closely with Product, Sales, Marketing and Customer Success — regionally and globally.
* Bring the voice of the ANZ customer and market into product, planning and roadmap discussions.
* Contribute to the extended Australia leadership team, supporting alignment across product, growth and marketing priorities.
What You Will Bring
* Strong experience in product marketing, proposition marketing or strategic B2B marketing (SaaS or technology preferred).
* Proven ability to lead go‐to‐market planning, positioning and proposition development.
* Strong commercial judgement and ability to link marketing strategy to revenue outcomes.
* Experience partnering with Sales, Product and Customer Success in complex, matrixed organisations.
* Excellent communication, storytelling and senior stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands‐on execution in a fast‐paced environment.
* Experience using customer and market insights to shape strategy.
* Understanding of the Australian and/or New Zealand education market.
* Experience working across global and regional teams.
* Previous exposure to senior leadership groups.
* Knowledge of school operations, workforce management or education software.
