We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Contract Manager to lead the team at one of Darwin’s largest retail shopping centres. This pivotal role will oversee day-to-day operations, strengthen client relationships, and support the ongoing development of our staff while ensuring exceptional service delivery.
The Role:
As the Contract Manager, you will be responsible for managing the successful delivery of our security services at the shopping centre. You will lead a team of approximately 25–30 security officers, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, workplace safety standards, and NHG’s policies and values.
You will be the key point of contact for the client, working closely with their management team to achieve shared objectives and maintain the highest levels of service quality. Internally, you’ll collaborate with NHG’s Head of Group Operations and scheduling team to ensure effective workforce planning, budget management, and operational coverage.

Key Responsibilities:
* Contract Management and Compliance
* Ensure all contractual obligations for the Shopping Centre are met.
* Monitor and maintain compliance with safety, licensing, and regulatory requirements.
* Team Leadership and People Management
* Lead, mentor, and support a team of 25–30 security officers.
* Promote a positive workplace culture aligned with NHG’s vision, mission, and values.
* Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing staff development.
* Rostering and Budget Oversight
* Work with NHG’s rostering team to ensure effective workforce allocation.
* Monitor budget allocations and contract KPIs to ensure operational efficiency.
* Stakeholder Engagement
* Act as the primary liaison with the client’s management team.
* Build and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
* Problem Solving and Incident Management
* Respond to operational challenges and client concerns promptly.
* Implement solutions that minimise disruption and maintain service standards.
About You:
* Previous experience in contract management or site management, ideally within the security industry.
* Strong knowledge of compliance, WHS, and regulatory requirements.
* Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment.
* Skilled in rostering, workforce planning, and budget oversight.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with clients and staff.
* A proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.
