About the Role
We are seeking a talented and forward-thinking motivated mechanical engineer to join our Research and Development team. In this role you will apply your experience to develop new products as well work with the team on product improvements. This is a unique opportunity to apply your expertise in HVAC, aerospace, aerodynamics or mechanical engineering to the design, optimisation, and testing of innovative new products. You'll work on projects that require deep understanding of fluid dynamics and sound HAVC engineering principles.
Key Responsibilities
· Apply advanced principles of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and mechanical engineering to solve complex challenges related to environmental separation, energy efficiency
· Conduct simulations and experimental validation of new concepts using modern engineering tools and techniques
· Support project delivery from concept through to commissioning, including site assessments and troubleshooting
· Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and client-facing reports.
· Stay abreast of emerging technologies and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
About You
* Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field
* Demonstrated experience in one or more of: HVAC system design, aerospace, fluid dynamics, industrial ventilation, or advanced mechanical systems
* Strong grasp of thermodynamics, turbulent jet behaviour, and psychrometric principles
* Experience with CFD software and/or airflow simulation tools highly desirable
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong written and verbal communication abilities
* Experience with simulation software (e.g., CFD) and hands-on prototyping or commissioning
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
