Holly Aged Care is conveniently located close to the southern end of the Southern Expressway, with the Onkaparinga River National Park close by. Our home is situated on the bus route to Colonnades Shopping Centre less than five kilometres away, and connected by other transport routes to the wider metropolitan area.
About the Opportunity
Are you passionate about Aged Care and Nursing? Then this is the role for you. We are actively seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team on a Permanent Part Time Basis, with penalty rates in play. We currently have a variety of shifts on offer for AM PM & NS (as below)
0700-1500pm
1300-2100pm
1500-2200pm
2300-0715am
with the ability to pick up additional shifts covering planned and unplanned leave.
Reporting to the Care Manager, you will be responsible for providing high quality clinical care to the elderly in line with Aged Care and Bolton Clarke standards whilst working within a multidisciplinary team. You will be responsible for completing holistic assessments, developing appropriate care plans, evaluating and determining clinical decisions that guide our care staff.
The Role
As a Registered Nurse, you’ll provide a range of clinical care and support services for our residents, assisting them to experience a greater level of independence and ensuring their health and wellness are supported. These include:
- Providing and monitoring the care of residents
- Using a systematic approach to clinical decision-making
- Developing appropriate therapeutic and caring relationships
- Collaborating with the health care team to achieve resident outcomes
- Participating in the development of a supportive environment with the team
To be successful, you will have
- Previous experience as a Registered Nurse
- Relevant qualifications and AHPRA registration
- Minimum of 12 months experience as a Registered Nurse
- Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
- Complete a police check
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and all levels of staff
- Strong passion for working with the elderly and dedication to professional growth
