About the Role
The Justice Officer, Prison Services - Casual is an entry-level position to a career in Prison Services within the Department of Justice and Community Safety (DJCS).
Some of your duties will include:
- Contributing to the efficiency of the administrative function through actively contributing to business improvement initiatives
- Under supervision, providing quality financial and procurement services, in accordance with the Financial Management Act 1994, other government regulations and guidelines and local operating procedures
- Performing accounts functions overseeing the administration of prisoner private monies in addition to accounts payables, receivables, reconciliation, data entry, and reporting

About You
As our ideal candidate, you will possess:
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, procedures, guidelines and regulations
- Proficiency in the use of software and standard office equipment
- Experience and/or understanding of working within a correctional environment or the ability to learn
Qualifications/Requirements
- No formal qualifications are required
- Forklift licence preferred but not essential
