* What’s the role all about?
* The Professional Services Engineer is a customer-facing, billable position responsible for engaging customers in a consultative capacity and providing specialized expertise around NICE products, contact center industry, and related ecosystem topics including CRM, telecommunications infrastructure, analytics, social media, and others. The role involves managing customer expectations, configuring NICE products based on best practices and customer requirements, coordinating activities within NICE, tracking project status, and mentoring junior staff. The position focuses on the successful provisioning, implementation, and deployment of solutions for clients across public and private sectors.
* How will you make an impact?
Technical
* Provide technical configuration and programming as required.
* Model processes, data, and objects in various application and database environments.
* Design, develop, and enhance databases; manage changes to applications.
* Lead technical architecture analysis, design, development, and enhancement.
* Maintain expertise in industry-leading contact center technologies.
Project
* Manage end-to-end system lifecycle of projects, from small to large scale.
* Develop proposals, perform risk analysis, and manage change control.
* Conduct business analysis, user needs assessment, and systems design.
* Perform cost/benefit analysis and prepare business cases.
Business
* Present a professional image in conduct, attitude, and attire.
* Assist in developing client information standards and evaluating technology trends.
* Contribute to business assessments and design.
* Assist in preparing business cases for new projects.
Supervisory
* Supervise junior staff or sub-contracted personnel during projects.
What are we looking for?
* BS/BA in CS, IS, EE, Marketing, MIS, or equivalent experience; MBA preferred.
* 5+ years of professional experience.
* Experience in technology, analysis, call center operations, or training, depending on specialization.
* Desired personal qualities: analytical, inquisitive, service-oriented, friendly, and an early adopter.
Bonus Experience
* Prior consulting experience.
