Location
The Ormsby located in Buderim is a 136‐bed Residential Aged Care Home.
Job Responsibilities
* Assisting in the preparation, delivery, presentation and serving of resident meals.
* Assisting our residents with any requirements they need at mealtimes in line with their individual meal plans.
* Cleaning the food preparation and consumption areas, cooking equipment and utensils.
* Catering for special occasions such as birthdays, cultural and religious occasions, meetings and events.
* Assisting in maintaining the dining and adjacent rooms in a clean and hazard‐free condition.
Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum 6 months experience in a similar role; aged‐care experience will be highly regarded.
* A real commitment to working safely.
* High level of English skills, written and verbal.
* Teamwork is essential; you must be qualified, collaborative and friendly.
* Clean and tidy personal presentation.
* A commitment to providing a high level of customer service at every shift.
Mandatory Compliance
* Valid working rights in Australia (passport, birth certificate etc.).
* Complete a police check.
* Current flu vaccination (or willingness to obtain).
* Evidence of Covid‐19 vaccination (minimum of 1 dose).
