Job Description
The role of Project Metallurgist is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our operations. As a valued member of the Metallurgy Project team, you will play a key role in maintaining effective project management, engaging with key stakeholders, and managing relevant R&D projects.
To be successful in this role, you will possess a degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or Mineral Processing, and have a minimum of 3 years of experience in base metal operations, including grinding, flotation and dewatering, project management, and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain effective project management, ensuring timely completion and within budget
* Engage with key stakeholders, including Processing Operations, Technical, and Maintenance personnel
* Manage relevant R&D projects, applying process understanding to identify technical and operational issues
Requirements:
* Strong background in base metal operations, including grinding, flotation and dewatering, project management, and process improvements
* Degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or Mineral Processing
* Minimum 3 years of experience in related field
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
