Senior Librarian, Digital Curation Opportunity
The University of Queensland Library seeks a Senior Librarian to play a pivotal role in enhancing the management of born-digital and digitized archives and special collections.
Key Responsibilities:
* Co-design and implement processes and platforms for digital content lifecycle management.
* Ensure systems and practices evolve to meet user needs, now and in the future.
* Work closely with the Director, Collections and Digital Services, to develop and implement digital curation strategies.
Requirements:
* A degree or qualification in archives, library or information management.
* Relevant experience in digital curation, including metadata management, digital content workflows and online communication tools.
* Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with experience producing high-quality reports and documentation.
* High-level analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work flexibly and independently.
