About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team in a unique dual role, working 0.5 FTE as a Purchasing Officer and 0.5 FTE as a Procurement Administrator on a fixed-term six-month contract.

What You'll Do:

Purchasing:

* Expedite orders as necessary to meet delivery dates for both internal and external customers
* Clarifications
* Ensure the timely resolution and closure of supplier purchase order terms and condition
* clarifications
* Maintain the integrity of inventory management by accurately capturing and inputting data within operating systems.
* Verify and validate inventory and contract pricing, to ensure accurate supplier data and update price lists as needed.
* Provide exceptional customer service for swift resolution of purchase issues and supplier queries.
* Facilitate sourcing quotes from approved suppliers in alignment with the Category team's strategy.
* Experience utilising ERP Systems

Procurement:

* Undertake lower risk/value request for quotes.
* Provide administrative support to the team on procurement packages, contract management and reporting.
* Manage document signature requests and the execution of contracts.
* Monitor and manage compliance with procurement governance.
* Provide administrative assistance with business purchasing policies for both internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance.
* Provide advice and proactively source responses for Procurement queries for internal and external stakeholders.
* Develop and maintain accurate and up to date supplier records.

What You'll Need:

* Minimum 2-3 years within purchasing.
* Demonstrated experience in administrative support
* Tertiary qualification in Commercial or Supply Chain related desirable
* Intermediate level of competency in Microsoft Office Suites, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
* Excellent interpersonal communication skills, fostering positive relationships internally and externally to support effective collaboration.
* Ability to multitask, prioritise, and coordinate personal time management, ensuring seamless workflow even in high-pressure situations.
