Your new role
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will support the delivery of critical brownfield and sustaining capital projects. Working closely with project engineers, supervisors, and site electricians, you will assist with design reviews, provide technical guidance, and ensure high‐quality engineering outcomes across a range of electrical scopes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct electrical design reviews to support electricians during project execution.
2. Produce, update, and quality‐check electrical drawings, schematics, and work packs.
3. Ensure engineering deliverables align with internal project standards, Australian Standards, and site requirements.
4. Work collaboratively with project delivery teams to resolve design issues and support smooth project execution.
5. Provide technical input and assistance during installation, commissioning, and project close‐out activities.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for the position you will have:
6. A relevant tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering.
7. Experience within the mining or heavy industry sector.
8. Strong attention to detail, supported by well‐developed problem‐solving and analytical skills.
