Bunnings Frame and Truss continues to grow across Australia and with this brings new opportunities to join our close-knit family. Our newest Frame and Truss Manufacturing plant in Wacol QLD is now looking for a Yard & Transport Supervisor for our 2:30PM to 10:30PM Night Shift Monday to Friday.
In this role you will be managing a Team of 8-15 Forklift and Pick Pack Team Members deliver an efficient and quality service to our customers by ensuring our F&T product is delivered to site with ease. To provide Best Experience you will be required to verify stock quantities, manage transport services, quality check our product and our facility whilst managing the maintenance of Forklift and other equipment within our GI area.
As part of the role you will have a strong knowledge of Forklift operation with the opportunity to become the F&T Forklift coach within the site.
This role is at the core of our Goods inwards/outwards operation, if your looking for a new challenge and have interest in Construction, Manufacturing or Leadership then get in touch today.
What's Involved
Load timber wall frames and roof trusses from 2.4 to 12mReconciling incoming stock.Manage stock and conduct routine stocktakes.Maintaining the warehouse and Equipment.
Who We're Looking For
You may be a current leader or looking to gain more responsibility within a heavy logistics and manufacturing environment, you will be influential to your team and able to provide clear communication and feedback. Forklift experience is essential due and a willingness to teach.
Knowledge of timber, building and logisticsPrevious experience in similar environment.High level of attention to detail with a strong work ethic.Be proactive, punctual, and reliable.Ability to prioritise, work under pressure and to deadlines.Be able to work on your own or as part of a team.
