About The Role
The Bids & Pursuits Advisor will support the Bids & Pursuits Manager on all bids and pursuits at Hall & Wilcox, including tenders, capability statements, proposals, and other pitch documents and presentations. The role can be based across any of our office locations, including Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Newcastle, Adelaide, Canberra, and Darwin.
Responsibilities
* Track pipeline activities, bid progress, win/loss trends and provide insights and reporting to Senior Manager and Manager, as requested;
* Manage end‑to‑end process of the tenders and proposals allocated to you;
* Develop win themes with the Bids & Pursuits Manager and communicate them to the tender team;
* Undertake a Bid/No‑Bid process, as appropriate;
* Draft, edit, proof bid submissions, ensure compliance and arrange submission;
* Lead and implement timeline process with the tender team, including instructing required inputters;
* Coach and mentor partners and tender teams for 'beauty parade' presentations and related material;
* Conduct debriefs on submissions;
* Transfer information from the tender process to central documents (Content Library, CRM) and update CVs, website, etc. for Award/Directory submissions;
* Work with the Communications and BD & Marketing teams on firm award and international directory submissions, liaising with partners and corporate services;
* Update credentials and information on profiles, website, CVs and the CRM;
* Maintain records of all bid content, including CVs, credentials and firm information, ensuring it is updated regularly;
* Ensure correct filing of all completed bids;
* Contribute to BD, Marketing & Comms reports and support delivery of BD, Marketing & Comms strategic objectives;
* Provide general support to the Director of BD, Marketing & Communications and the wider BD, Marketing & Comms team as required.
About You
* At least 3 years' experience in a Bids & Pursuits Advisor or Coordinator role, preferably in the legal industry or professional services;
* Degree in Marketing, Business or related qualification;
* Demonstrated experience as part of a Bids & Pursuits team, including project management and a proven ability to manage legal bid processes;
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
* Strong attention to detail;
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suites (essential);
* Ability to multi‑task and meet tight deadlines;
* Strong organisational skills;
* Proactive and strong problem‑solving abilities;
* Ability to work autonomously and interact in a team environment.
