Job Title: Business Risk Management Lead
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Risk Management Lead to join our organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who is passionate about risk management and compliance, and wants to make a real difference in the business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of risk management strategies, policies and procedures that align with organisational objectives. They will work closely with senior stakeholders to identify, assess and mitigate risks across the business, ensuring that our operations are efficient, effective and compliant with regulatory requirements.
This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of risk management principles, practices and frameworks, and be able to apply them in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g., degree in finance, accounting, or business)
* Demonstrated experience in risk management and compliance, preferably in a similar role within the financial services industry
* Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks, regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 31000, APRA CPS220)
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and assess risks effectively
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement
